Advanced Practice News

The Advanced Practice Session is held at each Conference. It is time dedicated to Advance Practice Providers/Clinicians as well as Nurses. We would like to invite all APN/PA/RN to attend. It is an opportunity to get to know each other, have discussions about current practice, and collaborate on current practice.

What does being a part of District VIII mean to you?

"Wonderful locations, current topics and a great group of professionals. These are some of the reasons that District VIII has been my favorite meeting since attending my first conference in the mid eighties.  Physicians and Advanced Practice professionals work together to improve care in their district and beyond. Networking is definitely a draw for many. Sharing district concerns/trends and developing strategies to address those issues make this meeting one where people see the impact of their efforts. And, having a good time at an educational offering doesn't hurt either. For these and many other reasons I always encourage District VIII membership and meeting attendance. " Robyn Wales NNP
