2018 Conference - Exhibitor and Sponsor Information

Back to Main Conference Page

Note: exhibitors and sponsors need not "register" on this site.  All documents and payments will be handled by direct email communication by the conference planners at Primary Children's Hospital.  Exhibitors or sponsors wishing to attend activities not provided by their level of sponsorship should contact Carrie Roberts at carrie.roberts@imail.org.

Our approach to exhibiting at or sponsoring the District 8 conference is new or improved this year.  Note: Publicity opportunities are increased through levels of greater sponsorship:

$1250 EXHIBITOR; exhibit space plus free breakfasts.  Company name in syllabus.

$2500 BRONZE SPONSORS; get same as exhibitors plus company name in syllabus and on the sponsorship acknowledgement signage. All reps may attend all educational sessions and the Thursday welcome reception.  Reps will also participate in the free drawing for registrants visiting their exhibit (see below).  Bronze sponsorship includes hosting a conference break and signage acknowledging the company for their support of the break.

Friday and Saturday morning and afternoon breaks:  attendees arrive, sit or stand, and eat a quick snack before returning to the session.  Discussions may last up to 30 minutes and there are no distractions.

$5000 SILVER SPONSORS; get same as bronze sponsors plus all reps may also attend the Friday (main) activity.  Silver sponsorship includes hosting a conference breakfast and signage acknowledging the company for their support of the breakfast.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning breakfasts:  attendees arrive, sit, wake up, and eat a quick meal before seeking a seat at the session.  Discussions may last up to 30 minutes and there are no distractions.

$7500 GOLD SPONSORS; get same as silver sponsors plus full conference registration privileges for all repsGold Sponsorship includes hosting one or more meals or events including first choice of the main conference lunch, Council lunch, or APRN lunch and signage acknowledging the company for their support of the meal or event.

Thursday council lunch: About 20 Council members and about 10 fellows attending the Fellow’s Workshop meet and dine together.  Small numbers, but the Council are leaders in their practice groups (medical directors and the like) and many fellows end up in District 8 practices.

Friday conference lunch: the main conference lunch will feature updates by the Council to district members and an update by the Neonatal-Perinatal Section Executive Committee Chair, John Zupancic to section members.  All conference registrants are at this lunch.

Saturday APRN lunch:   APRN attendees (usually 40-60) network over lunch.  Hosted by the Council APRN reps from Utah, these folks are the best at returning and reporting new information to NICU colleagues and staff.

$10,000 PLATINUM SPONSORS; get same as gold sponsors plus hosting one or more meals or events including first choice of the premier evening activities: welcome reception, main activity, or Founders dinner and signage acknowledging the company for their support of the meal or event.

‚ÄčThursday welcome reception: Miniature golf tourney, family search stations, and buffet dinner attended by all registered attendees at no charge plus paying guests.

Friday main activity: Bus to Park City Main Street to stroll and shop to the Kimball Arts Center for dinner and entertainment for all registrants and guests.

Saturday founders dinner:  event at fine dining restaurant (Blue Boar Inn), reunion-style program/founders award attended by District physician and APRN elected leaders, Council members, and invited guests (MD and other).

Note: hosting opportunities will be provided to sponsors on a first-come basis, that is, to those who committed first to their level of support.  Similarly, hosting opportunities not taken by greater sponsors will be opened up for other sponsors to take on a first-come basis.

Free Drawing - In an effort to improve your interactions with registrants, we have changed the rules for the popular drawing.  Registrants may obtain 1 ticket from each sponsor per visit but must stay awhile and listen and interact by asking questions such as “what is new?” or “what message should I take home for my colleagues?”  Note: no tickets will be passed out for brief, “drive by” visits even if handout materials are taken.  There must be a conversation.  Registrants may increase their chances of winning by making multiple visits and sponsors may reward 2 tickets for “really good” visits.  You will have the tickets.  You will decide.

And for the first time, prizes will be linked to sponsor levels with progressively more valuable coupons going to (16) winners: $25, $50, $75, or $100 gift cards redeemable at resort restaurants or activities such as horseback riding, fly fishing, or mountain biking.  In addition, GRAND PRIZE winners (2) will have the registration fee for 2019 conference (Alaska) waived; an estimated $650 value.  These rules and prizes will undoubtedly bring registrants to the exhibits with intent to hear all you have to say.

Note: District 8 is serious about providing sponsors a quality interaction with attendees.  Good visits with reps will be stressed from the podium and bolstered by the free drawing.  And there is value to the sponsorships as well as opportunity.  Your support is critical and we are most grateful for it.
