Transportation Information

SL International Airport to Zermatt

TRAX from the airport to downtown SLC ($2.50) and the SLC-PC ($4.50) route 901 bus will get you to the Kimball Junction Transit Center near Park City, but still doesn’t get you to Midway.  However, from Park City you can Uber on to Zermatt Utah in Midway for about $20.  Not too convenient.

A private shuttle can be scheduled by visiting www.canyontransport.com or by calling (not toll free) 801-255-1841.  1-3 people can divide the $135 one-way base fare.  Additional passengers are $45.  Pickup and return may be scheduled in advance.

One-way, up to 4 person traditional taxi ($116), up to 4 person Lyft or Uber X ($57.80) or up to 6 person Lyft Plus or Uber XL ($79.87) can be obtained.

A car (rental) will take you about 45 minutes door-to-door from the airport to Zermatt. (www.carrental.com)

Around Midway

It’s about a mile to “downtown” Midway where you can find nice local restaurants.  Remember, it is a small, rural place.  If you call Uber, they’ll likely have to come to you from Park City, about a 20 minute drive one way.  But actually, everything you need is probably at the Resort – restaurants, snack bar, gift shop, spa, and activity vendors.

Directions from Salt Lake City to the Zermatt Resort
